Partnerships Saskatchewan Learning strongly supports and promotes partnerships at the provincial, regional and local level. These partnerships can range from joint projects and the shared management of programs to co-governance arrangements that oversee the management and control of a school or a number of schools. The goal of working in partnership with Aboriginal people and their governments is to provide the best possible supports to all children in our schools. Building Partnerships: Educational Services Agreements Resource Guide This resource guide has been developed by a working group of representatives from Saskatchewan Learning, the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations (FSIN), Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC), the League of Educational Administrators, Directors and Superintendents (LEADS), Saskatchewan Association of School Business Officials (SASBO) and the Saskatchewan School Boards Association (SSBA). The information and ideas presented in this resource are not intended to be a template for preparing educational services agreements. Rather, this guide can be used as an information resource only by boards of education and First Nations as they negotiate educational services agreements.
