This atlas is designed for elementary and middle years. It includes material to develop map reading skills, maps of the world, North America and Canada and its regions, as well as maps of other countries. Four maps of each province relate to transportation, land forms, farming, and mining and resources. The maps are fairly simple and uncluttered, using both grid and longitude/latitude. Five pages of historical Canadian maps include information about Aboriginal Peoples' locations, lifestyles and population. Included are colour photos, charts, graphs, legends, a table of contents, index giving grid references and gazetteer.
