| Order no. ENT S2-008 | Network Versiion (MS-DOS) | $ 396.00 |
This is a simulation. The student is given the task of ridding a city of pollution problems. The problems are large and varied. Students get a "first hand" experience regarding pollution control. This is a good way to deal with the topic. The major strength in the program is that it allows students to try a variety of strategies and experience the results. Just as in real life, solutions are complex. A weakness is that occasionally the student will run into an obstacle and not be able to receive sufficient "advice" to solve it - example, a beached whale.
