(CAN, I/M) Two Cape Dorset artists, Qaunak Mikkigak and Napachie Pootoogook thrill audiences as they perform throatsinging in Toronto and at the Northern Lights Festival in Sudbury, Ontario. They are delighted with the new adventures they experience on their travels. As well as throatsinging, Qaunak's reputation as a carver is well established in Canada and abroad, and Napachie's very original work is prized by collectors and galleries. A highlight of the program is a meeting with Ojibwa artist Blake Debassigo and Cree artist, Shirley Cheechoo.
