This book describes 77 cooperative, interactive games. Although they may be used with people of any age, the games are probably most appropriate for younger students. The book is well organized and easy to use. It provides information about the history of games and how to create or adapt games. The games described in detail fall into the categories of low, moderate and high activity games. Most games require little equipment and may be played either outdoors or indoors.

It also includes interactive “I can spot” sentences for object identification. The back matter features “The ABCs of Active Living for Young Children,” an acrostic that provides helpful suggestions on becoming active.
