This excellent resource provides detailed background to most welding processes.  Following an introduction to welding, other topics covered include oxyacetylene welding, shielded metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, gas metal arc welding, weld evaluation, and welding technology.  The numerous charts, diagrams, drawings, and photographs supplement the information in the text.  Teachers will find this well-formatted resource easy to use.  Included are a table of contents, a glossary, and an index.
