Guide to Canadian Employment Law. 2nd
ed. (Print-Non-Fiction).

ISBN 0-88804-402-X ($109.00 hdc.).
(CAN) While this resource may appear to be written
for the law profession, the layout and format makes it very useful as a teacher
resource. The expanded table of contents
make it very easy to locate specific and brief descriptions related to most
areas of employment law. Topics such as
job applications and human rights, hiring, equity in the workplace, dismissal
without just cause, and severance packages are covered. The book provides a very good look at
employment law across all Canadian provinces.
A table of case studies allows for easy access to examples that support
the ideas being discussed. An index is
included.
