While climbing walls is still not that common in Saskatchewan, the popularity of the activity is certainly growing. Introducing students to climbing walls could have a great impact in encouraging them to pursue a lifelong activity that can foster fitness. The book does an excellent job of outlining the equipment and safety requirements as well as explain how to build a climbing wall within a budget. Photographs and drawings are used throughout the book to illustrate proper techniques. Several sample policy and waiver templates are included to guide teachers through the development of this activity. An index and a glossary are included.
