Activity One

This activity is intended to introduce the students to the concept of racism. The activity will explore some of the racist rationalizations to determine whether there is anything valid about them.

Activity Two

This activity is intended to help students understand:

• the concept of acculturation,
• the significant role it plays in the way people from different ethnic groups relate to each other,
• the different models of acculturation, and to,
• understand that the choice of an acculturation model has extremely serious consequences for the well-being of a society.
