Arts Education - Drama
As the class discusses each improvisation, it is important for the
teacher to ensure that the discussion does not centre on external
action; that is, on the "showing" of the ideas (for example,
whether the actors could be heard or had their backs to the
audience). The primary concern must be with the internal action
which the improvisations evoke; that is, with the quality of
thinking or feeling which the participants have experienced.
