In this case, the
students work
with their own writing.
However, the teacher may, have
proposed that the students work
with the writing of a
classmate. Perhaps the most
effective strategy would have
been to ask students who had
written as valley dwellers to
work with the writing of a dome
dweller, and vice versa. This
would have further facilitated
their distance from the work and
may have enabled them to work
with increased belief and
objectivity.
