Arts Education - Drama
A class visit to
Wanuskþwin, just north of
Saskatoon, would be an excellent
follow-up to this drama. The
site includes archeological digs
that date back as far as six
thousand years. Middle Level
students are able to view the
many displays mounted throughout
the galleries in the building,
as well as participate at the
excavation sites, attend
workshops provided by Aboriginal
artists, or take guided hikes
along their choice of several
historically significant trails.
Students would be able to make
many connections between this
experience and their work in
this drama.
