Arts Education - Drama
The Talking Circle
originates
with Aboriginal cultures as a
method of discussion and
decision-making. In the talking
circle, a found object, such as
a stick or a stone, is passed
from one person to another. The
person who holds the object
speaks. When the person is
finished speaking, the object is
passed on. Those who do not
wish to speak may simply pass
the object on. After the object
has been around the circle once,
it may be passed to anyone who
wishes to speak.
