Arts Education - Drama
The Mantle of the Expert technique is used here. The teacher has
established a situation in which the students are endowed with
expertise and empowered to express it. The teacher here, although
ostensibly in a leader-type role, is a fellow traveller who seeks
the expertise of colleagues. This serves to support the students'
belief in their roles and in the drama.
