Arts Education - Drama
The use of this
particular guest
in role has provided the class
with an opportunity to meet a
local artist and to exchange
views about the importance of
drama and theatre in rural
Saskatchewan. Such community
involvement in the school drama
program has many benefits beyond
supporting the students'
commitment to this particular
drama. Among other things, it
is one way to ensure that the
cultural/historical component of
the curriculum is addressed.
