    Suggested Steps:

    1. Discuss the meaning of Easter.
    2. Brainstorm Easter vocabulary.
    3. Discuss the symbols of Easter.
    4. Discuss gift/card giving and make a list of sayings that could be written in a card for this occasion.
    5. Design a card.
    6. Give your card to the person it was designed for.

    Teaching Notes:

  • Les oeufs de Pâques
    Cut out about 20-25 egg shapes. On one side write a trivia question. (Most should be questions related to Easter). On the other side write a number. During the course of the Easter season, students are given a chance to pick a card and answer the question. If the answer is correct, then the number written on the back of the egg will be the number of points awarded to that student's team. One or two questions could be done per class or the entire game can be played in one class. The team with the most points wins.
