1. | Have students cut out footprints (approximately 3 for each student). | |||||
| 2. | Place the footprints in a box near the bulletin board. | ||||||
| 3. | When the teacher asks a question and the student correctly respons, he/she can place a footprint with his/her name on it on the bulletin board. | ||||||
| The teacher and the class can decide whether or not footprints will be awarded for questions concerning the unit (provided on the game cards) or merely for motivation and encouragement. | |||||||

| 4. | This game can also be played in pairs, using the game cards, or in small groups. When played in this manner, use the map provided as a gameboard. Place the cards on the space provided. Players may start on any sity. Each player moves ahead one city as he/she answeers each question correctly. Players must return to the city they started in order to complete the game. |
