Fais un sondage auprès des élèves pour déterminer ce qu'ils ou elles veulent acheter comme vêtements. Écris leurs noms au-dessous des vêtements choisis.

Teaching Notes
Students may not be familiar with all of the vocabulary in the list. A way to assist them without direct translation would be to mime putting on the article of clothing. When they have understood the word, they could make a very quick pencil drawing in the square beside the word. This should not take a lot of time and should only be done for the words that they are not familiar with.
After the survey, do a simple graph to determine what the most popular article of clothing would be.
To help the students work with the vocabulary, the teacher or another student could think of one of the words and the other students would try to guess the word. "Est-ce que tu choisis le manteau?"
Students should be aware of the differences in the articles preceding the nouns.

Regarde les raisons pour choisir certains vêtements. Décide si la raison est très importante pour toi, importante ou pas très importante. Ensuite pose des questions à ton ou à ta partenaire.

Students could give examples for each of the criteria such as the different styles, the colours, the stores, etc.

Qu'est-ce que les élèves portent? Voici quelques exemples de descriptions. Suis l'exemple pour créer 4 phrases qui décrivent les vêtements de 4 élèves de ta classe. Ensuite, choisis un mot de chaque colonne pour faire une phrase secrète. Demande à ton ou à ta partenaire de deviner ta phrase.

Teaching Notes:
To demonstrate to the students how language can be manipulated, put all of the words onto large cards (possibly color-coded) and have the students manipulate the cards in order to create a number of sentences.
Two sets of cards could be made with each set of cards distributed to students on two different teams. As the teacher (or other students) calls out a sentence, the students try to arrange themselves in the proper order.
If necessary, take this opportunity to teach a brief lesson on the agreement and placement of descriptive adjectives.
