
This section of the Kindergarten curriculum provides general information on theme building and assessing student learning when you work within the context of a theme. The section also includes two model themes of study--"Modes of Transportation" and "Spring". These models are intended to illustrate how a theme can be used to guide learning in many different aspects of the Kindergarten program.
Codes
In the two model themes, codes are used to show reference to the integration of Core Curriculum components and initiatives. What follows here is an explanation of the codes used.
