In this module, students begin to understand that a certain amount of conflict is normal in relationships at home, at work and in the community. Students practise skills that are effective in constructively resolving conflict. Students learn of the variety of ways in which different people respond to conflict. They identify behaviours that escalate conflict and those that defuse conflict. There are some conflicts in some relationships that we can not always resolve on our own. Students identify personal and professional sources of support and consider when and how to access them. |
