Planning Survey Courses - Page 1
Part 1 - Survey Guidelines
In a previous section, Survey Curiculum Guidelines were covered. Keep in mind that when planning a Survey Course, a module covering safety issues must be incorporated (if there are safety modules in the curricula you are choosing your modules from).

As well, a module reflecting career choices should be developed based on the modules covered during the Survey Course. Discussion about possible careers can be developed from the modules covered in the Survey Course.

Part 2 - Constructing a Survey Course
Determine whether it will be:
- a middle or secondary level course (depending on the situation and need)
- based an activity, event or theme
- dependent on resources (equipment, facilities, staff)
- designed around student interest or community needs

Part 3
Refer back to the points to keep in mind from Part 1. Have they all been addressed?
