The designation of modules as introductory, intermediate or advanced was chosen to avoid designating modules to particular grade levels.

It is generally assumed that an introductory modules will be taken prior to an intermediate or advanced module.

Intermediate and advanced modules often have prerequisite modules attached to them. When including such modules in your courses, it is essential to ensure that students have already completed the prerequisite module.

Prerequisites are listed in the modules chart in the PAA Handbook.

Safety and careers modules are generally prerequisite. Combinations of each of these from a variety of courses may be developed to suit the needs of a particular Survey Course.
