Recordkeeping - Page 1
An important part of PAA Survey Course planning is designing Survey Courses for students and tracking their progress. In order to help with this, templates are provided for each course. These should be completed for each student and added to their cumulative file. As an alternative, Saskatchewan Learning has developed an electronic recordkeeping system. For more information regarding the use of this database contact Gerry Craswell at Saskatchewan Learning.

The recordkeeping task becomes more challenging if students change schools.

The following exercise is intended to give you practice in setting up Survey Courses for different students. You can work on the screen and print out your results, or you can open the forms (4 pages) and then print them.

Your first student is Albert. You are a teacher at Yellowhead School, a small, rural K-12 school with little lab space.

You will need your Survey Guidelines document, particularly the module menu. Keep in mind the guidelines for course planning. In Survey Guidelines module menu pay attention to:
- the Key guide and the symbols that denote a middle level, introductory, intermediate or advanced course
- the Prerequisite modules for each course

Move to the next page to begin planning for Albert.
